Four Proven Steps To Bank In Massive Attention
In the previous blog posts, I have shared tips on SexyFemaleMarketing and walked you through the most important foundation of grabbing attention - Making Powerful First Impressions, Clearing Up Your Outdated Wardrobe And Improving Your Personal Image.
Ok, so these are the very obvious command of grabbing attention.
But do you think, being well groomed is good enough to RETAIN that attention?
Remember I shared that people like to to talk, to be with and associate themselves with people they like?
The Likeability Factor
Likeability has a lot to do with how you look. However it has a lot to more to do with how you make people FEEL.
Last year, I had a face to face meeting with a client who happened to be a natural healer. Basically she is well versed in identifying positive and negative energies in someone and is able to perform energy healing to those that needs her expertise.
So we were having a great conversation discussing about how I could help her, 10 minutes to the conversation she shared very personal stories about her life and then she paused.
She said “Diana, I need to tell you something.”
“I have never told anyone I didn’t know that well about what I’ve just told you. You radiate this warmness in you. You make me feel so comfortable and at ease. You radiate such positive enegies that is very welcoming and it makes me want to tell you everything! I feel as though you could really relate and connect with me.”
I smiled at my client but voices were running in my head. “How did I just do that!”
Client after client, clients became really good friends, day after day, I became more aware of the ability I have to win people over by making them feel MATTERED.
I began re-reading law of attraction and Dale Carnegie’s How to Win Friends And Influence People and found out that it is all because of our Disposition!
Our internal thoughts, our body language, facial and tonal expressions when we converse plays an important role in you being a people’s magnet.
It was an “AH HAH!” moment for me. I finally knew why I am very likeable.
Likable people give loud and clear signals of their willingness to be sociable; they reveal that their public
communication channels are open. Embedded in these signals is evidence of self-confidence, sincerity and
trust. Likable people expose a warm, easygoing public face with an outgoing radiance that states, “I am ready to connect. I am open for business.” They are welcoming and friendly, and they get other people’s attention.
In other words, if you radiate those signals to people you are demostrating a “Pleasant Demeanour” or “Pleasant Disposition“.
4 Proven Steps for you to apply to Capture & Retain Your Market’s Attention
1) Do you have a POSITIVE ATTITUDE?

If you haven’t heard, having a positive aura is important if you want be an attracting magnet with people you meet. To have a positive aura, you need to have a positive attitude towards everything in life. Attitude is contagious and has effects on people around you. As I’ve mentioned in the paragraphs above, likeable people are self-confident, easy-going, warm and welcoming.
Aren’t these positive energies that their aura radiate?
I am sure you’ve met insanely GORGEOUS people but you feel that they lack the presence. You feel that even though they are good looking and dresses well, they did not give you much of an impression. Worse still, some makes you feel so uncomfortable as if something was not right. That person is radiating obvious negative energies.
See the importance and influence of having the right energies within you?
You need to have a presence. You need to create a lasting impression and it comes with channeling the right energies out to people around you.
The good news is, it is not rocket science to start radiating a colourful positive aura.
You need to always think positively and visualize the good things in life. See the good in others and give them the benefits of doubt. When we first introduce ourselves with someone or about to have a meeting with someone, our thoughts have to picture ONLY positive things. Not of hate and mistrust.
You need to THINK confident, FEEL confident and naturally you will LOOK confident. People love communucating and trusting with people who are at ease with themselves.
These actions would then cancel out all negative feelings and supplement your inner and outer self with positive energies which in turn build a positive aura around you.
With radiating positive aura, your body language will naturally adjust to suggest open communication channels for human interaction.
2) Do you make the right EYE CONTACT?
This is a no brainer. Do you like it when someone talks to you and he/she looks at your shoes, the other person next to you or look into thin air? I bet no!
So look directly into the eye of the person you’re talking to. Let your positive energy reflect through eyes.
When you make direct eye contact, you are showing that you’re giving full attention to the person talking to you. It automatically creates comfort and build trust between you and your prospects/leads/clients.
In video recording for your online business, you would want to look at the camera. Direct eye contact with the camera is like making direct eye contact with your market online. This creates an impression that you are interested in what your market wants and are interested to establish a relationship with your market.

3) Do you SMILE enough?
When you are meeting a prospect or client always be the first to smile. Always flash a sincere smile and be yourself. Often a time, people try so hard to flash their most sincere smile that they flash a grin which looks like the Grinch of Christmas.
Now after you’ve gained the other person’s attention through your positive aura, your eye contact and your sincere smile. This person would build a positive impression about you and would decide whether you’re truly sincere to bother having a continued conversation with.
Remember at this point of attraction, the other person is looking at sincerity. Be as sincere as you can.
Be the first to approach the person with a smile and eye contact. Watch your tonality when your introduce yourself and extend your hand for a handshake. Always start with “Hi or Hello! My name is Diana…” and not “Hi” and that’s it. Always say smile, make direct eye contact, extend your hand and introduce yourself with your name. Take the lead.
At this point of conversation, you are in a position to gather tons of information about the person you’re meeting. These information would be useful later in your conversation.
This is of course in the case of face to face meetups.
In video recording for your online business, you should make direct eye contact witht he camera as mentioned in the above point and smile your most sincere smile.

Having a Positive attitude, making direct eye contact accompanied with the most sincere smile would certainly grab and retain your market’s attention.
You would “Shine” in your market’s eyes.
4) Do you have a correct POSTURE?
When you want to grab attention and retain your market’s attention, you’ve to show openess and that you’re interested in them.
You do so by tilting forward towards the person you’re talking to. In the case of a video, you can also imagine that your market is communicating with you at that moment and naturally demostrate your body tilting forward as if you are listening to what your market is saying. Also take the note to maintain an upright posture even though you’re tilting forward. This is not an excuse to slouch. An upright posture shows confidence.

Hi, Diana. I enjoy reading you blog. Your topics are great and content important. Some may think that this is basic stuff but I believe that far too many people don’t pay enough attention to these things because they are so basic. Success is often in the details that may not directly relate to the business at hand.
I hope more people take better care of themselves for their own personal and mental health but, being successful in business is a motivator then, make it so!

Hi Tom, I agree with you. It’s basic stuff which people often take forgranted of.
When I coach clients, they always hv similar questions like “I’ve tried these methods but I am still not attracting leads/prospects/clients. Why is this so?”
I took the initiative and examine them and their business. I observed a similar pattern that my clients were not taking care of the basic foundations - Personal grooming, Positive Disposition and Body language.
SexyFemaleMarketing is about having Presence and Standing Out. It is about using Proven Social Media strategies to grab and retain attention.
However I feel before I go to the more technical social media strategies, I am responsible to address the basic foundations of building the pyramid.
And I truly hope this time, women who visit my blog would finally take action.
