About Diana
As I write the journeys that has been and would be in my life, I am listening to Hero by Mariah Carey. You can either choose to listen to this song till it’s finished and continue reading on or you can do both listening and reading on at the same time. It’s up to your multi-tasking skills!
“When you feel like hope is gone, Look inside YOU and be STRONG. And you’ll finally see the truth that a HERO lies in YOU…”
This song has helped me pick myself up at every obstacle and inspired me at every success that I have made. Each time I listen to this song, it always fill my heart with so much love and gratitude. It always lift my spirits and motivates me towards a greater good.
This song will always live deep within my soul.
Now usually on an “About Me” page, people would write about their journeys in their lives, their struggles and achievements all summarised in one page.
It is also a page where people would ask themselves;
“Why should I listen to Diana Sabrain?”
Now first of all, I am going to do something different for my “About” page than others.
I am going to give you hindsights of my journeys instead of a summarised version of my life.
My life is not a summary. It is an ongoing journey.
Yes, I am sharing with you my life’s journey in stages. We’ll go on a train ride together as I document snippets of my life back from I was a little girl till the present, 2008 and share with you my inspirations and aspirations of my future.
Why am I doing this?
No, not to create suspense.
Seriously I am only 19 years old and I can’t say I know better than a 40 year old. I may know better in some areas but I am aware that I have a long way to go, lots more to learn and many wisdoms to takeaway to increase my EQ & IQ levels from the grandest University in the world - The Universe.
I feel that in every part of our lives, there are expensive and great lessons learnt. And summarising those lessons in one page or few pages won’t cut it.
Here’s what I’ll do instead. I’ll record a video of myself on random days at random times and talk about random stages of my life.
Here’s what you’ll get. You’ll learn, get inspirations and nuggets of wisdom from my mistakes, setbacks and stumbles that I have faced. You’ll also share my joy of my successes and my aspirations which includes me believing in YOU towards a greater good.
You must be thinking…
“Diana, clearly don’t know who I am. So why is she believing in ME? What does her needing to work towards a greater good, has anything to do with ME?”
Well, I would be sharing with you the journeys of my life and of course the blog entries on various categories and sub-categories of Sexy Female Marketing, Making Money the inexpensive way, Women being Financially Independent, Strong Women of the 21st Century and Developing and Discovering Your Inner-Self to name a few. It is then, You’ll soon understand your important role.
In fact, I do relate my blog entries to my experiences in life and it is through those entries that you’ll get to know me better too.
Let’s skip the boring (YAWNS!) biography and go straight to the point on what you’re going to know about me, yea lovelys! :p
So here are the hindsights of my journeys in life that I would share with you in time to come in this blog.
- My first attempt at entrepreneurship at 7 years old. Hint: Selling erasers which pictured flags of different countries but making $0 PROFITS!!!
Why did I even sold them in the first place? I hated Math! *laughs
- Learnt the meaning of spousal abuse, infidelity and betrayal for a few years before my parents divorced.
- Forced me to grow up faster than I should because I needed to be a Mother, Father and Sister to my 1 year younger brother while my admirable beloved single mother slogged to feed us.
- Learnt the word Acceptance when my mother remarried my one and only father when I was 9 years old. I’ve never regarded him as my step-father because he raised me up and is responsible for the women that I am today. I’ll share with you what he has nurtured me.
- My father business failed when I was 13 years old and I experienced a cut in pocket money. From $20 to $50 a day to $5 a day. It was a huge sudden blow for my family.
- At 14 years old, I decided to grow up faster (once again) and take charge of my life. I started my First part-time job… as a Fast food waitress and cashier!
- Next strings of job experiences till I was 16 and 1/2 years old which includes an offer of a full-time job even before I finish college and entered University.
- Suffered low self-esteem, battling eating disorder called Bulimia and starvation from 13 years old all the way till 16 and 1/2 years old because I was 10 - 12 KG FATTER and not a single guy would take a look at me!!!
- Coping with name calling like Stupid, Useless, FATTY, Buffalo.
- Joined Dragonboat: The sport that has changed my life. TREMENDOUSLY.
- At 17 years old, an unexpected encounter with God’s Angel and I decided to run a Business. Hush! I kept it a secret from my parents for some time. That’s where it all started…
- My first $10 000 in my bank account! It made a BIG DEAL for me at 17 years old alright!
- My first contribution to my parents and family. A trip to the grocery and Mac Donald meals for my little siblings.
- My first Car at 18 years old!!!
- Making the most DIFFICULT decision of my life at 18 years old. TO QUIT SCHOOL and focus my attention on my business. Yes indirectly on my business but really I quit school to listen to my inner voice which screamed: You have the gift to help people change their lives, Diana!
- Seeing more zeros in my bank account! Annual Revenue: A whopping close to $300 000 in less than a year!!!
- Business crisis. Surviving the exponentially fast growth stage and dealing with mismanagement, Criminal Breach of trust and Defamation in my company.
- At present as I am sharing with you, I am battling Clinical depression. It has been quite a trying rollercoaster ride these few months. However I am growing to be a much Stronger women.
Alright, I shall stop here now. Those are some hindsights about the journeys in my life that I have been through. Some obstacles in those journeys I’ve passed, some failed, then failed over and over again. However each time hoping I would never repeat the same mistakes and grow up a much wiser woman.
As I’ve said my life is an ongoing journey and there are definitely more journeys to embrace and overcome and we shall go through them together on this very blog.
So stay tuned to the videos about myself in coming blog posts!
The other purpose of this blog is for YOU to also share your entrepreneurial journeys, experiences and purpose in life. Remember sharing is the key to greater success and a greater good?
No one shall feel alone and keep silent of the dreams they have that’s dying to be let out from within themselves.
I believe in YOU.
With love,
Diana Sabrain
P.S: Now, do I deserve a chance to be listened too?
The very purpose of my life is to find wealth and abundance of inner peace, love, gratitude and happiness. And that comes with sharing your mind, heart and soul, doing good to others, being a much better person than my yesterdays and achieving success towards a greater good. That’s when I know I’ve made a difference to my life and to the lives of others.

Great intro … very inspiring. I don’t remember how I came across your sight but I am glad that I did. Myself I am going through a lot of self-esteem issues because of acne and weight gain (coming from an Asian background I totally understand what you went through) Slowly I am getting over it, I have a fiance who support me and my choices of running a business and great mentors.
I will certainly subscribe to your blog as you have great things to say. Wishing you much more success and happiness.

Hi Diana! Do you like to go by Di or Diana?
My name is Dan, from Southern California, and I just came by see who posted the latest Integration Spotting blog entry above my entry about “donating $1.00 to homeless pets”.
You are 100% right when you said to yourself “You have the gift to help people change their lives, Diana!” In the last 10 minutes I’ve spent getting to know you, it is crystal clear to me that you DO have a wonderful gift to help people change their lives.
Just from your simple comment, “No apologies on the ups and downs. It is for all those times that made me the woman I am today”, I can see you possess wisdom beyond your years.
I will be keeping an eye on your “ongoing journey”. I truly believe you can accomplish anything you set your mind to.
I wish you continued success and happiness so you can multiply it and give it back to the world.

Hello Diana,
I’m really impressed with your website and your success at such a young age! Be strong and keep doing ! You mentioned you have clinical depression at this time. I have been depressed in the past also and I believe we all battle this at times in our lives. But now I have entered a source of love and great joy that no one can ever take from me and that will always be with me. Email me if you want to know more. You may have heard of using affirmations. Besides making up my own I also use several affirmations daily that I get from The Bible. Here is one of them: “The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him,and I am helped:therefore my heart greatly rejoices; and with my song will I praise Him.”—Psalm 28:7 God bless you Diana ! —-Bill, from the USA

Hi Diana,
It was a pleasure having met you recently during our meet up with Mark J and Ewen Chia at Wisma Atria. Yes, I am the old retiree sitting next to you.
I am very impressed with what you have done and what you intend to do. You have a very bright future and I believe you have what it takes to achieve what you want in life. Your enthusiasm and success would definitely be an inspiration to like-minded females.
Everyone’s ultimate objective and definition of success are different. You seem to know yours and how to reach there. Here, I wish you the best of luck and to your success. Go get ‘em girl!
Now that i am back in Singapore possibly for the next six months, I will have the time to socialize and network with fellow and younger aspiring internet marketers.
Will be starting a blog soon either in the WarriorForum or on one of my sites.
Take care.
Paul
